Suzanne Marcus-Fletcher is an internationally acclaimed print and broadcast journalist, creator and host of the popular ITunes podcast: "The Body Politic" [www.blogtalkradio.com/thebodypolitic, www.itunes.apple/thebodypolitic]. The Body Politic is a provocative, global, call-in show, featuring the world’s foremost leaders and pioneers in the exploration of social issues, politics, and gender bias, specifically, how the masculine/feminine power dynamic plays out in our every day lives. Fletcher focuses on relevant hot-button topics that invite debate and dialogue, and has covered controversial issues facing disenfranchised women and children since 2001. While environmental and animal-welfare legislation is critical to Fletcher, she is best known for her award-winning work on children and women at risk. Sheriff's Dept. titled: "Vida: Scared Straight In The Streets of L.A." launched a television series coined "Scared Straight" in 2011.  Fletcher micro-blogs daily to a growing Twitter following of more than 240,000 people of highly diverse ages and cultural backgrounds. Fletcher's work includes a keen emphasis on issues facing the 99%. She has thrice interviewed founding architects and media liaisons from the General Assembly of Occupy Wall Street, NYC. At 53, Fletcher models for high-end Glamour photographers to participate in the coalition of international women fighting ageism and beauty bias. The Body Politic can be heard daily on ITunes.
